Experience the thrill of chasing the Northern Lights from the comfort of a husky sled.

Our kennel is perfectly situated away from the city's light pollution, meaning the spectacular Aurora Borealis can often be seen dancing in the sky directly above the farm before we even set off. As the Arctic night falls over Swedish Lapland, sit back, relax, and enjoy the silence as an experienced guide drives your dog team through the darkness.

Before setting off, you will meet our enthusiastic Alaskan Huskies and feel the unique, quiet energy of the kennel at night. After being dressed in warm winter clothing and receiving a brief safety introduction, you will settle comfortably into a large wooden sled lined with warm reindeer skins.

Feel the excitement as your team eagerly pulls away into the crisp night air. Guided only by the stars, the moon, or your guide's headlamp, you will glide through the vast landscapes surrounding Kiruna. This tour is particularly spectacular during a clear full moon, when the snow reflects the moonlight so brightly that we can turn off our headlamps completely. Gliding through the glowing, silent landscape using only natural light is a truly breath-taking and unforgettable experience.

Your eyes are free to roam the Arctic sky in search of the Northern Lights, or to simply admire the starlight and the silhouettes of the snow-covered trees. We groom our own trails, which means away from snowmobile traffic and crowded tourist routes, you will experience the true, untouched silence of the northern wilderness.

After returning to the kennel, the real bonding time begins. You are warmly welcome to help unharness the team, reward your dogs with well-deserved treats, and enjoy plenty of time for cuddles and photos with our affectionate huskies.

Afterwards, we gather around the fire for a traditional Swedish fika. Inside the warmth of our shelter, you can enjoy hot drinks and freshly prepared sweet treats while sharing stories of the night and learning more about how our working sled dogs navigate in the dark.

The complete experience lasts approximately 2.5 hours, including transfers, warm clothing, introduction, the sled tour, dog cuddling, and fika.

Good to know

• Ride in comfort: This is a passenger tour. Guests travel in a large sled driven by a professional guide. Please note that depending on group size, you may share a sled with other guests.
• Distance: Approximately 10 - 15 km, depending on weather and snow conditions.
• Group Size: Exclusive, small groups of maximum 8 guests ensure an intimate and personal experience.
• Northern Lights: The farm is an excellent viewing spot, but the Aurora Borealis is a natural phenomenon; while we explore the best areas to spot them, we cannot guarantee their appearance.
• Weight Limit: 100 kg per person. Please contact us before booking if you exceed this limit, as sled capacities are carefully managed for the welfare of our dogs.
• Transfers: Free pickup from Kiruna is available for groups of at least two people. Pickup locations: Arctic Thai Grill, Hotel E10, and Scandic Hotel. Please contact us after booking to confirm your transport. Guests with their own vehicle are welcome to drive directly to the kennel.
